About
About the Practitioner Name and Credentials My name is Yash, I am a Licensed Massage Therapist in the Mysore Area. I am Nationally Certified in Massage & Ayurveda Therapy.
I attended Malabar School, in Kerala State, India. I started out in the Ayurvedic Treatments and ended up in the massage therapy program. I have had great success helping people with different conditions by using massage. I learned several different modalities such as; Thai Yoga Massage (on a table & on the floor), Swedish, Aroma, Kerala Ayurvedic. I recently learned the
Kalari Massage , which is a very effective massage treatment modality.
Training
I Studied at Malbar School in Kerala State. I learned several different types of massage and have
several classes toward my Ayurvadic Treatments (in the future).
Practice Philosophy
I believe in not only treating the branch cause of a problem but also treating the root cause so the problem will go away permanently.
Why I do what I do
I believe that if you are in pain you should try every tool available to relieve it and not just "live with it". I have had my share of injuries, aches and pains which were not only unpleasant, but they got in the way of my daily activities. I always thought that there had to be somebody to help with my problems that did not require drugs or surgery. This lead me on the path of alternative therapies. Now I find it very satisfying to help those that thought there was no help.
What comes to mind when you hear the word "massage"?
If you're like most people, you think "relaxing, Swedish massage" or "oils on bare skin". But what if I told you that massage can be therapeutic for acute or chronic issues and can be done with all of your clothes on? I am trained in various forms of Asian Body Works such as Thai Massage and Foot Reflexology, just to name a few. Sessions can be 30 minutes or 1 hour and most of the time, the client is fully clothed.
This type of massage can be used to treat painful back spasms, tense muscles and even painful menstrual cramps. How about trying a session of Thai Yoga Massage - commonly referred to as the "lazy man's yoga"? During this type of therapy, the client is placed in various positions that stretch muscles and release tension in the whole body, similar to yoga. Of course, if you're looking for a relaxing Swedish massage in a tranquil atmosphere, I am fully trained in that modality. Better still, let me introduce you to Kalari. This is an ancient massage that works gently, but deeply using long, flowing strokes by a Bare Foot. It is not only relaxing but therapeutic too!
So whether you're looking for a bit of relaxation or are in need of pain management, you've come to the right place! Give me a call and start feeling better today.
A little bit about me: hobbies, family, interests
I enjoy my relaxing time in Swimming Pool. If I can travel to an Island and relax in the sun near an ocean, it is even better.
